About this Course
IT Service Management focuses on best practices in managing IT as a service and in providing the necessary IT support to users. This course will cover ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) Operational Support and Analysis. Internationally ITIL is the most widely used international framework of best practices for IT Service Management. Students eligible for this course will have already passed the ITIL Foundations course which will have introduced them to Service Management practices, principles and concepts. In the course the students are introduced to more detail in the capability area of operational support. Class Exercises and Workshops are used extensively to reinforce the students understanding and practice of the concepts in relation to user support function. The ITIL Intermediate Qualification: Operational Support & Analysis (OSA) Certificate is part of the ITIL Intermediate Capability stream, and one of the modules that leads to the ITIL Expert in IT Service Management Certificate.
