About this Course

About the course:

Individuals who are require to conduct safety checks on manholes and to ensure that he is familiarize with the hazards associated with such entry into the manhole and the precautions to be observed.

Trainees are required to bring along Scientific Calculator for the Course/Exam


Legal Requirement:

Under the WORKPLACE SAFETY AND HEALTH (CONFINED SPACES) REGULATIONS 2009, before any person enters or works in a confined space, it shall be the duty of his responsible person to appoint a person whom the responsible person reasonably believes is competent to carry out the duties of a Manhole safety assessor, as a Manhole safety assessor for the confined space.

Entry Requirements:

Safety Instruction Course (Manhole) for Supervisors OR

Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course with at least 3 years of relevant experience in manholes

Note: 

Participants has to produce a company letter to show that trainee has fulfilled at least 3 years of relevant experience in Manholes with the current employers.
