Managing Workplace Diversity and Expatriates

About this Course

Organisations operating in increasingly competitive domestic and global marketplaces cannot afford to ignore any source of possible competitive advantage. However, many organisations’ HRM policies and practices give little consideration to the diversity of the workforce and the implications of that diversity for the effective management and use of employees, individually and in groups.

Managing diversity means recognising that there is no such thing as the ‘average worker’ and that competitive advantage can be gained by those organisations that value and accommodate differences.
