OVERVIEW

Managing Conflict Workshop helps individuals view conflict as an opportunity instead of an obstacle, so they can create a conflict-positive business environment. The program introduces new methods to help participants diagnose various levels of conflict. This program also provides a unique process for addressing different conflicts, and effective resolution tactics for solving them.

SIMULATION OVERVIEW

In the Making Conflict Work TM simulation, participant teams assume the role of Director of the Operations department for Virtual Technologies, Inc. (VTI), a leading producer of virtual-reality / holographic hardware and software.

Computer simulation provides participants the opportunity to apply new skills in a realistic environment before returning to the job. In teams, participants experience a 90-minute computer simulation in which they make decisions modeled upon real business situations. To reinforce skills and competencies, the simulation provides ongoing feedback on decisions made, plus qualitative and quantitative feedback following the simulation.
