About this Course

Work-At-Height Course for Managers is to provide course participants with the requisite Work-at-Height (WAH) knowledge to manage WAH activities so that work is carried out properly and safely. At the end of the course, the participants shall be able to Identify, explain and apply the relevant Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Legislations / Approved Code of Practice / Singapore Standards applicable to WAH activities. Identify and explain the various roles of each stakeholder, and their responsibilities in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all.

Who should attend this Course?

Project Managers, Project Engineers, WSH Officers, WSH Coordinators or equivalents who are required to evaluate WAH activities before approving the PTW for WAH in their workplace.

Course Content : 

  • Legal requirements, approved Code of Practice and Standards For WAH

  • Roles and responsibilities of different personnel under the WSH (WAH) Regulations

  • Hazard identification and risk evaluation for WAH activities

  • Control measures for fall prevention / fall arrest systems

  • Permit-To- Work (PTW) for WAH

  • Fall Prevention Plan (FPP) & its components, including emergency response for WAH

  • Site management and oversight

Course Duration : 8  hours (Theory 6  hours + Assessment 2 hours)

Trainer : Trainee Ratio : 1 : 20

Certification :

Upon successful completion of the course and passing the examination, a certificate of successful completion endorsed by Greensafe International Pte Ltd will be issued to the participants.

Entry Requirement

Attended and passed the MOM Accredited Courses for Supervisors (eg: WAH course for Supervisors, BCSS, SSSC, etc)

2 or more years of working experience as Project Manager / Operations Manager or equivalent

Assumed Skills and Knowledge

Employability Skills System (ESS) Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 6 and above, or equivalent .Ability to carry out hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control measures
