Lean concepts have been adopted by many organizations as a way of providing better value to their customers by reducing costs, improving quality, responsiveness & flexibility while improving their profitability. The process of becoming lean may require a completely new approach to the way we look at our operations, resource utilization & the way we measure our performance.

Programme Leader

The programme is designed and conducted by Mr. Rajinder Singh, who has a wide experience in developing and implementing world-class manufacturing and quality systems in various Indian and Multinational companies.

He is a professional Manufacturing engineer, with more than 17 years experience in running & improving manufacturing plants. his last job being with Delphi Automotive Systems as General Manager-Operations. he has also worked with Ford Motor Company venture in India.

Programme objectives

The programme is designed to introduce the concept of “Lean Manufacturing” to the leaders and managers who want to implement world-class practices in their organizations. This programme will help participants to start seeing the non-value activities, which lead to waste in the organizations. This programme also introduces the major tools of Lean methodology along with some hands on implementation practice using simulations, games and role-plays. The programme also introduces the tool called “Value Stream Mapping”. This is a powerful tool used to visualize the current state of the organization. Some lean performance measurement indices will also be introduced.
