About this Course

Internal audit is one of the system check tools to assess the effectiveness of any management system implementation. 

This course provides delegates with the basic skills, knowledge and competence on how to conduct a 1st or 2nd party integrated management system under ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Auditing report writing and audit follow-up will also be taught and discussed during this training.

The objective of this course is to provide knowledge and practical skills required for auditing an integrated or combined management system.

• Understanding Risk Assessment and Impact Evaluation
  
• Producing internal Audit programme
  
• How to plan a process-based audit; resources and timings; use of checklist
  
• Conducting opening and closing meetings
  
• Evaluating the significance of audit findings
  
• Communication skills in presentation of audition reports
  
• Corrective action follow ups
  

METHODOLOGY

Delegates will learn through a unique blend of group discussions, video presentation and practical exercises.

This course is intended for:

• Selected or appointed auditors from organizations implementing or certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, with or without auditing experience.
  
• Personnel who are interested to acquire integrated management system auditing skills
  

Pre-requisite

It is desired that the delegates have prior basic knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
