Industrial Audiometry Course

About this Course

Under MOM regulations, all compulsory pre-employment and periodic audiometric screening need to be conducted by qualified professionals who have completed the Basic Industrial Audiometry Course. This course is conducted by Temasek Polytechnic in collaboration with the Society of Audiology Professionals Singapore (SAPS) by highly trained Audiologists.The course will cover basic concepts on the science of hearing, audiometric equipment, pure-tone testing and industrial noise control. This course aims to provide participants with adequate practical skills required to perform audiometric testing on adults, as required under the Factories (Medical Examinations) Regulations.
