1. Conduct career planning for international assignees

  • Consult stakeholders to define objectives of international assignment
  • Work with assignees to assess their skills and experience against the objectives and requirements of the international assignment
  • Work with assignees to develop career plans

2. Provide assistance and support for international assignment

  • Develop and facilitate implementation of pre-assignment learning and development plan to prepare assignee
  • Establish communication process and contact persons involving assignee, designated overseas office and corporate headquarters
  • Monitor international assignment and facilitate adjustments when necessary

3. Evaluate and improve the international assisgnment programme

  • Develop processes and systems for gathering measurement data and feedback
  • Analyse measurement data and feedback to establish performance against required criteria
  • Review best practices in international assignment programmes to identify potential improvements 
  • Recommend refinements or modifications to international assignment programme
