Travelling can be frustrating for many people for a number of reasons: delays, lost baggage, etc. If you want to be the person who helps passengers have a smoother and more pleasant journeys, then this is the course for you.

This course provides students with the skills and knowledge to perform duties which include various frontline services such as meet-and-greet, check-in, ticketing, boarding and deplaning, as well as public announcements.

Progression Opportunities

Higher Nitec in Passenger Services with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 and above may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics. 

Career Prospects

Higher Nitec in Passenger Services graduates are employed by organizations which provide passemger services (primarily in the aviation and ferry/cruise industries). Some of the job titles held by graduates include Customer Service Agents, Passenger Services Agent, Passenger Services Officer and Operations Officers.
