About this Course

The participants are introduced to the working principles, planning, operation, testing and maintenance of high voltage equipment and systems, the Safety & Licensing Requirement of Energy Market Authority (EMA). The training will be relevant to the application of High Voltage Switching License issued by Regulation Division, Energy Market Authority. COURSE OBJECTIVES - Introduce the working principles, planning, operation, testing and maintenance of high voltage equipment and systems. - Emphasize the safety aspect of electrical engineering work, recommendation on good safe practices, procedures and precautions to be taken to maximise the safety of personnel. - Enhance the working knowledge of the participants through the practical hands-on of high voltage equipment testing and operation at Ngee Ann Polytechnic HV Training Centre. - Introduce the Safety & Licensing Requirement of EMA. The training is relevant to the application of High Voltage Switching License issued by Regulation Division, Energy Market Authority.
