About this Course

The participants acquire an introduction to the "EASA Aviation Legislation", the structure of rules, the role of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the national authorities. The course gives an introduction to the Basic Regulation (Commission Regulation (EC) No 216/2008) and provides basic knowledge about the Implementing Rules (Commission Regulation (EC) No 2042/2003 and No 748/2012) with the corresponding Annexes Part-M, Part-145, Part-66, Part-147 and Part-21. It presents an overview of the Certification Specifications (CS) and the requirements for commercial air transportation (aeroplanes). The regulations and implementing rules are presented in the actual amended version.
