About this Course

The Course 

This course introduces you to the major topics, concepts and theories comprising organizational psychology. You will gain a better understanding of human behavior in a wide range of organizations, as well as important contributing cognitive processes and emotions. As such, organizational psychology is an applied field relevant to virtually all work settings (and many non-work settings).

This programme will benefit working professionals in human resource or whose job requires them to interact with others on a frequent basis.

Admission Criteria

Aged 18 and above

Minimum 4 GCE 'O' Level passes (including English Language)

Course Outline

Module 1: Principles of Organisational Psychology (24 Hours)

  • Foundations of Industrial/Organisational Psychology
  • Training and Development
  • Employee Selection

Module 2: Understanding Organisational Psychology (24 Hours)

  • Organisational Development
  • Stress Management
  • Psychological Testing & Assessment (Performance Management)

Course Duration

48 training hours (approx. 2 months)

Lessons are conducted twice a week

Assessment Methods

Candidates will be assessed through assignments, quizzes, class participations and written examinations. Upon successful completion of the programme, candidates will be awarded the Certificate in Organisational Psychology (COP) issued by Atlantic Institute of Higher Learning.

Advancement

Graduates may proceed to the Diploma in Organisational Psychology Programme.
