This training session is designed to provide participants with a thorough understanding of the knowledge, skills and competency required to plan and control the inventory at the workplace. It is also important to plan the right amount of materials so as to reduce the inventory holding cost and also to provide adequate theft preventive measures. After training, participants will be in a position to apply their new skills directly to their everyday working environment.

Entry Requirements

  • Completed Secondary 1 OR
  • Candidates who are at least 15 years of age
  • Teaching Methods
  • Classroom Face-to-Face Theory Explanations / Assignments

Mode of Examination

  • The assessment process is designed to test two things:
  • The knowledge of the individual through end of module assessment
  • The practical application of that knowledge through practical phase test
  • The module comprises of theory examinations and practical phase test, which constitute 70% and 30% respectively of the final score. The pass mark for the module is 50% based on the aggregate scope of the practical phase test and the end of the module assessment.
  • On successful completion of the practical test and theory examinations the students are awarded the International Professional Managers Association (IPMA) Certificate in Logistics, Warehousing and Inventory Controls (CLWI).

Part-Time

4 Months (75 hours)

2.5 Hours Per Sessions, Conducted on Tuesdays & Thursdays 7pm – 9.30pm
