- Overview of WSH Act, Subsidiary legislation and Director’s Guidelines.
- Introduction to bizSAFE concept, Risk Management concept and Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) of companies.
- Top management responsibilities and the role that they play towards cultivating a conducive safety culture in the workplace, Business case studies and tangible and intangible consequence of an accident.
- Practical exercises in preparing a WSH policy
Who should attend?
Top management, such as company owners, directors, CEO, Managing Director, Executive Director, General Manager or Senior Management of the company. Limited to top 3 tiers of the company’s management hierarchy.
Pre-requisites
Applicants must be a company owner, Director, CEO/Top management, and one who has the responsibilities to carry out safety policy in the company. If they are not office bearers in ACRA record, he/she will not be able to attend the course unless company owner/CEO can certify this person’s role.
