This direct entry, final year Honours degree is offered to help suitably qualified applicants, both home and international, become full UK graduates in Business Information Technology. The course is also validated for the award of BSc (depending on circumstances and location of delivery).

WHAT WILL I LEARN
This pathway is ideal if you’re interested in information systems management and gaining further IT skills. You’ll combine system-development skills with business-orientated knowledge, making you attractive to employers.
Business Information Technology (BIT) builds upon the understanding of system analysis, design, development and administration covered in informatics core modules to address strategic management of IT for business.
This course is part of an Information Technology framework, designed to give the most flexibility and opportunity for specialisation to suit your career aspirations.
On each of the programmes you’ll develop your knowledge and understanding of strategic management of IT for business; your ability to apply various analytical tools to identify business and IT requirement; practical IT skills; and the ability to present IT solutions to various stakeholders. In addition, the Research Methods module will equip you with the experience and skills to develop your qualitative and statistical methods, which complements the more technical aspects of the course.

Entry Requirement
Applicants aged 19 years or older are eligible to enter the top-up degree programme with one of the following qualifications:
- A relevant Auston Higher Diploma
- Singapore government Polytechnic Diploma in relevant fields
- NQF Level 5 qualification
- Relevant equivalent qualification from recognised institutions
- Non-related Diploma will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
Applicants whose first language is not English or whose previous qualification was not taught and assessed in English must provide evidence of attainment in English Language by achieving an IELTS 6 or an equivalent qualification.
