The Advanced Diploma of Arts aims to provide students with specialized area of studies in Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Hospitality and Business fundamentals. ASAS holds a course transfer agreement with Adams State University, USA

Assessment Methods

The following types of direct assessment methods are used as evaluation tools for each module:

Assignments (60%)

Mid-term Exam (20%)

Final Exam (20%)

Assignments may consist of Multiple choice, True/False, Short answer questions and written assignment such as essays, Case Studies, Critical Reviews and Research Papers.

Delivery Method

Classroom based.

Graduation Requirements

Earn at least a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0.

Program Subjects

Students must complete 8 subjects each year which include the 2 Compulsory subjects and choose 12 subjects from the list of Electives.

Eligibility

Minimum 16 years old Completed ’O’ Level or ITE Certificate, Diploma Holders

  • General Psychology (Compulsory)
  • Introduction to Sociology (Compulsory)
  • Twelve Electives from any Psychology, Sociology, Criminology and Liberal Arts
