About this Course
This course is meant for Cargo agents and airline staff.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to :
- Calculate published rates and charges for cargo shipments
- Apply advanced construction and combination principles for unpublished rates
- Calculate appropriate rates and charges for mixed consignments and unit load devices (ULDs)
- Complete air waybills
Course Contents
- The Air Cargo Tariff (TACT), lATA Areas and sub areas, chargeable weight, rates and charges and air waybill completion
- Currency regulations - conversion and rounding off procedures
- Construction rates (add on amounts) - Construction of a general cargo, specific commodity and class rates
- Combination of international general cargo rates, specific commodity and class rates
- Mixed Consignments - rating and air waybill completion, Unit Load Devices - rating and air waybill completion
Duration : 4 days course
*Note : There is a test on the last day of the course.
