Tourism Management Institute of Singapore (TMIS), formely known as the Centre for Tourism-Related Studies (CTRS) was established in 1987. Over time, TMIS evolved to that of a full-fledged training provider that not only trains the current workforce but also the public in Singapore and the region, providing job placements to attract new entrants to join the Tourism industry. TMIS being a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of the National Associate of Travel Agent of Singapore (NATAS), provides WSQ qualifications as well as internationally-recognised diploma and certificate programmes. TMIS is also the training centre approved by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), to provide training for the tourist guide course in both english and chinese. Since its humble inception, TMIS has trained more than 50,000 students.
