Emergencies First Aid & Rescue (EFAR) started off as a partnership on 9th September 2002 by James Teo and Doris Ching. It is the passion of James to share his knowledge and skills he has gained while he was a Male nurse with School of Nursing followed by being a paramedic with Singapore Civil Defence Force. Since then EFAR has been conducting first aid and CPR training. With our instructors’ background as paramedics and trainers in CDA (Civil Defence Academy) or/and SAF Medical Training Institute (SMTI), they are able to relate real life experience with the participants and let them understand the importance of first aid knowledge and skills. We are Ministry of Manpower (MOM) accredited training provider for Occupational First Aid Course. Our Standard First Aid course is accredited by NFAC in collaboration with Singapore Sports Council (SSC). We are also National Resuscitation Council (NRC) accredited training centre for Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS – CPR) and Heart Saver CPR & AED course. National First Aid Council (NFAC) in collaboration with Ministry of Community Youth and Sports (MCYS) has accredited our centre for First Aid Training for Infant Care/ Child Care Personnel. Our training programs are also recognized in Australia and UK. EFAR believe in delivering quality training to our clienteles which is the hallmark of our success. Our clients keep returning to us in recognition of the value of service we have been providing them. They include Ministries and Government Agencies, Schools and Organisation. On 14 May 2008, Emergencies First Aid & Rescue Pte Ltd was incorporated following the management direction to include Ambulance Service as part of our business activities. Majority of our operation staff were ex-SCDF Paramedic running Emergency Ambulance Service. We are the only few first aid training centre that also runs private ambulance services listed with 1777. Apart from providing a one-stop emergency care to our client, the ambulance service also provide a platform to ensure our advanced trained EMT has the opportunity to witness real-lives casualties and for our paramedics to remains relevance and maintain their skills
