About this Course
On completion of this unit, participants will have the knowledge and application skills to carry out hazard identification and risk assessment, comply with the safety and health management system, co-ordinate a permit-to-work system, and carry out safety inspections and investigations
The total training duration is 32 hours.
(29 hours of lecture, case studies, role plays, and 3 hours of assessment)

Certification
Upon successful completion of the unit, a Safety Pass and a Statement of Attainment (SOA) from the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) will be issued.
Minimum Entry Requirement
Participants should have :
- Be able to listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) level 5
- Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to ESS level 5
- Received training(Apply WSH in Process Plant) or on-the-job training or personal coaching on topics that are relevant to the selected competency elements of the competency unit OR
- at least 6 months of process/manufacturing work experience within the last 2 years from the date of application for assessment
