Course Overview

The Respond to Fire and HazMat Emergency course prepares Company Emergency Response Team members (CERT) with the knowledge and skills to handle fire hazards (identify hazards and prevent fires from occurring) and mitigate outbreak of incident fire and hazmat incident in the plant. The training includes practical training sessions and exercises.

Who Should Attend?

Company Emergency Response Team members (CERT), Fire Safety Officers and other staff who are the first to respond to fire fighting and mitigation of hazardous materials emergencies in the industrial premises. CERT, Fire Safety Officers and staff who are the first to respond to fire emergencies in the buildings can attend this course

Medical Requirements *COMPULSARY*

Participant is required to undergo a medical check-up if he/she intends to attend the 2-day or 3-day CERT course. The Medical documents are to be submitted to Avanta 1 week before the course commencement.
