On completion of this Competency Unit (CU), learner will have the knowledge and application skills in making electrical terminations and connections of aircraft systems and electrical wiring using appropriate tools, equipment, materials and methods. Summary of the Competency Elements covered: Splice and terminate wires with crimp-type terminal devices Remove and insert contacts of crimp-type connectors Apply appropriate soldering and de-soldering methods Perform wire wrapping connections Fabricate wire harnesses
