About this Course

Course Overview:

The aim of the course is to provide course participants with Work-At-Height knowledge so that they are carried out properly and safely.

During the course, participants will learn about:

  • Work At Height Legislation
  • Risk Assessment for Work-At-Height
  • Ladders and Step Platforms
  • Personal Protection Equipment for Work-At-Height
  • Principles of Fall Protection
  • Fall Rescue and Suspension Trauma
  • Practical lessons on harness fitting, harness suspension, retractable fall arrestors, twin lanyards, ladder systems
  • Fall prevention plan and emergency preparedness

Duration:

7.5 hours (including Assessment)

Schedule:

All Wednesdays – 8.30AM – 6.30PM

Competency Criteria:

Attendance – 100%

Written Assessment – 60%

Practical Assessment – Competent
