About this Course

Course Overview:

The aim of the course is to provide course participants with the requisite Work-At-Height knowledge to supervise and manage Work-At-Height activities so that they are carried out properly and safely.

At the end of the course, the participants shall be able to:

  • Identify the various Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) legislation / Code of Practice / Approved Code of Practice / Singapore Standards applicable to Work-At-Height
  • Conduct risk assessment on Safety & Health Hazards and implement Preventive Measures related to Work-At-Height
  • Implement a Fall Protection Plan (FPP)
  • Demonstrate competency in doing, checking and correcting of individual Fall Protection equipment and first line response in emergency

Duration:

12 hours (including Assessment)

Schedule:

Day 1: 8.30AM – 6.30PM

Day 2: 6:30PM – 9:30PM

Competency Criteria:

Attendance – 100%

Written Assessment – 60%

Practical Assessment – Competent
