About this Course

Course Objective

The aim of the course is to provide course participants with the requisite WAH knowledge to assess and manage work at height activities so that they are carried out properly and safely.

  1. Identify, explain and apply the relevant Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Legislations / Approved Code of Practice / Singapore Standards applicable to Work at Heights (WAH)
  2. Identify and explain the roles & responsibilities of a WAH Assessor
  3. Identify hazards, evaluate the risk, and implement control measures for WAH activities
  4. Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of Fall Prevention Plan.
  5. Evaluate whether the control measures implemented on site for PTW are adequate and effective

8.5 hours (including 2 hours of assessment)

Entry Requirements

Attended and passed the MOM WAH course for Supervisors

Assumed Skills and Knowledge

  • Employability Skills System (ESS) Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 and above, or equivalent.
  • Ability to carry out hazards identification, risk assessment, and risk control measures.
  • Trainees are required to read the supplement materials in the links below before attending the Work-At-Height Course for Assessors. The supplements are important and highly recommended for the learner to read prior to the class
