Course contents

1.Selection of MEWP and Risk Assessments 2.Safety requirements related to MEWP. 3.Pre operational inspection. 4.State factors affecting stability. 5.Conduct workplace inspection. 6.State functions of all MEWPs controls, including emergency controls and emergency procedures. 7.Identify common hazards during travelling, setup, operation and parking of MEWP and their control measures. 8.Use personal protective equipment appropriate to the task, worksite and environment. 9.Operate the MEWP safely as demonstrated in the hands on evaluation and assessment.

Entry Requirements:

Learners are assumed to:

1.Employability Skills System (ESS) Workplace Literacy and Numeracy level 3 and above or equivalent

2.Trainees should be medically fit and not visually handicapped

100% attendance is required. Latecomers are STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED into the class. 

Trainees must bring along any one of the following documents (photocopy or original) to be allowed to attend the class

Work permit 

IPA and Passport

NRIC / S Pass / Employment Pass.

Trainees must wear Safety Shoes and properly attired (No Singlet/Shorts/Bermudas).
