About this Course
COURSE OBJECTIVE
To provide emergency response personnel in shipyards with the basic knowledge and skills in rescue techniques and equipment, first aid and fire-fighting procedures, and to deal effectively with outbreaks of fire and carry out rescue work efficiently.

· Basic First Aid
· Complete Fire and Rescue Drill Onboard Vessel
· Knots and Lines
· Hazards in Confined Spaces
COURSE DURATION
· 79 hours (10 days)
COURSE STRUCTURE
Theory and practical sessions followed by end of course examination.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
· Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents or holders of valid Work Permits
· Able to read and write English
· Medically fit
· Company-sponsored

CERTIFICATION
Participants who have successfully completed the course and passed the course test and assessment will be issued with a Certificate of Achievement by ASMI.
REPLACEMENT
Replacement of participant is allowed if the substitute meets all entry requirements and request is made at least 3 working days before course commencement.
