About this Course

Upon completion of this unit, learners will have the skills and knowledge in planning WSH activities, implement safe work practices and maintain workplace risk control measures at their workplace.

Who Should Attend

This course aims to provide Supervisors already working or wishing to enter the manufacturing industry with the skills and knowledge required to supervise work improvement processes. This competency unit would be appropriate for those with supervisory responsibilities.

Assumed Skills & Knowledge

  • Have basic supervision skills
  • Have basic knowledge of the Singapore Workplace Safety and Health requirements
  • Be able to listen, read, speak and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the Employability Skills System (ESS) level 5
  • Be able to manipulate numbers at a proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) level 5
