The Quantity Surveyor able to communicate effectively and work well on team-based engineering projects through the knowledge in project, man and safety and health management system. The construction assembly process include recognition of correct application of build ability, elements, components, materials, techniques, Interpretation of documentation, Understanding the performance of potential of materials and components. The use of relevant mapping/measurement system, instruments and methods to conduct data collection, analyze, synthesis and application of data to produce appropriate construction cost, schedule and material. Application of legal concepts and framework to contract management
Specialist Diploma in Quantity Surveying (SDQS) 8 modules (lecture) with Exam:

- Measurement
- Estimation and Tendering
Assessment : Assignment 70% + Written Examination 30%
Entry Requirement(s) :
- ITE, GCE ‘N’, ‘O’ and ‘A’ levels or Polytechnic Diploma from other fields.
- Professional Certificate or certificate from any recognized institutions.
- Matured students, who have obtained other qualification, will be considered on an individual basis.
- Exceptions to the above will be assessed on case by case basis by GSTM Academics Board Members
Duration Part Time : 12 months
Mode Part Time : Sundays (9am to 5pm)
