About this Course

On completion of this course participants will acquire the WSH knowledge and skills to assist in the implementation of WSH control measures and management system. The knowledge is mainly factual and procedural requiring basic comprehension skills.

This course provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to work in the WSH industry. Participants of this course will gain the knowledge and skills for fulfilling the role of a representative of an organisation in accordance with the WDA- WSH level A competency-based training programme.

Who should attend this Course?

This course is designed for individuals or worker level with assigned responsibilities as representative or leaders among the workers. An individual who has little or no WSH background knowledge and skills should attend. The unit is also relevant for small businesses operations and self-employed people or individual who are interested in implementing WSH programmes or for those who intend to attain a certificate in WSH. This course would be relevant to them as it is one of the core units needed qualifications.

Assumed Skills and Knowledge

Participants are recommended to have attained the following before enrolling for the course:

ES Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 4 OR Completed Secondary 2 education

Preferably hold a WSH-related appointment

Certification 

A Statement of Attainment (SOA) will be awarded upon completion of each unit.
