Post-Diploma Certificate in Clinical Practicum in Cardiology, Cardiothoracic & Respiratory Nursing Module Synopsis Clinical Practicum 1 The module provides the advanced clinical training and offers students' opportunities to provide direct patient and family care and gain clinical experience in critical care settings. Participants will be attached to hospitals for 4 weeks in medical and surgical intensive care units. Post-Diploma Certificate in Clinical Practicum in Cardiology, Cardiothoracic & Respiratory Nursing Module Synopsis Clinical Practicum 2 Upon completion of the module, participants should be able to apply theoretical knowledge and skills learnt to clinical practice, utilize the Critical Care Nursing Process Framework to provide direct patient and family care and demonstrate effective communication with patients, their family members and other healthcare professionals. Participants will be attached to hospitals for 7 weeks in cardiac thoracic, coronary care, neurosurgical intensive care units and renal dialysis centre.
