Introduction

The Pearson LCCI Level 1 Diploma in Administration combines a range of subjects to a llow learners to comprehensively demonstrate their knowledge, skills andability in this area.

Duration:

35 lessons, 3 hours each

Total of 105 hours

Approximately 5 months

Students are given 24 months to meet the graduation requirement.

Objectives

• To equip students with industry-relevant administrative skills as taught in the subject components.

Assessment / Graduation Requirement:

This qualification is 100% examinable. Candidates are required to complete a given number of subjects at the specified level within 24 months.

Admission Criteria

• Be at least 16 years old of age upon enrolment.

• Have at least 5 GCE ‘O’ Level.

• Proficiency in verbal English.

Course Details

Business Administration Level 1

The aims of the qualification at this Level are to enable students to develop an understanding of basic routine administration, procedures and standards as well as to gain knowledge of standard office equipment, services and supplies and the ability to apply this knowledge and understanding in an office environment. This qualification is suitable for students who are preparing to work or are already working in an administrative support role that requires them to carry out basic administrative tasks. It is suitable for those about to start their career in administration.

English for Business Level 1

This qualification is intended for candidates who have achieved a sound basic understanding of English in a business context, gained either through previous learning or employment or both, and who have the ability to use the language at a basic functional level. The qualification consists of a mandatory reading and writing exam and optional speaking and listening exams.

Text Production Level 1

For students that are required to demonstrate the ability to transcribe documents from printed or handwritten copy. This also covers the correct ways of producing and presenting communications in a business context. Text Production qualifications provide evidence of standards in these competencies from basic to advanced, and the topics and tasks covered help to focus practice and develop strengths in these areas.
