About this Course
This course provides students with the skills and technical knowledge to execute animation in either 2D or 3D to support the media industry in their animation production.
• 2D Animation (Plan Code: NSDGA2D)
This specialisation provides students with the skills and ability needed to produce traditional 2D animation and digital animation for the animation industry.
• 3D Animation (Plan Code: NSDGA3D)
This specialisation provides students with the skills and ability needed to produce work in 3D digital animation, character animation for the animation industry.

Credit for Certification
Total of 42 credits from successful completion of 6 modules.
Entry Requirements
- Completed GCE 'O' Level; or
- Completed GCE 'N' Level; or
- WDA's Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking and Listening and Level 4 in Reading and Numeracy.
- Applicant must be free from colour appreciation deficiency.
- Applicants will be required to attend an interview and pass a drawing test for admission.
Note:
1) The training schedule of lessons is subject to change.
2) Depending on demand, not all the modules in the CET Nitec in Services courses will be offered in each intake. Where the modules are offered and there is insufficient enrolment, the classes will be cancelled and a full refund will be given to the affected students.
Training Schedule
Evening classes – Lessons are held two evenings a week, from 1845 hours to 2145 hours.
Weekend classes – Lessons are held once a week, from 0900 hours to 1600 hours.
