With the Nitec in Electronics (Display Technology), you will learn how to install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot Video Display System for next-generation digital displays such as flexible OLED display, 3D (Three-Dimensional) television, AR (Augmented Reality) display and smart display.
Acquire knowledge and skills which are highly relevant to the industry
- Install, operate, maintain and troubleshoot for indoor and outdoor digital video display systems for real-time information display and advertisement.
- Integrate, configure and commission next-generation digital displays such as flexible OLED display, 3D (Three-Dimensional) television, AR (Augmented Reality) display and smart display.
- Perform content management for digital display kiosk and digital signage.

Progression Opportunities
Nitec in Electronics (Display Technology) graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 and above may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics.
Nitec in Electronics (Display Technology) graduates with a GPA of 2.3 and above may also apply for progression to related Higher Nitec courses offered by ITE

Nitec in Electronics (Display Technology) graduates are employed by digital signage and video display system integrators and original
equipment manufacturers (OEMs) that support the integrated digital display systems industry to produce, design and manufacture display devices; as well as companies that provide installation, set up and maintenance of display systems, display walls and public information system. Some of the job titles held by graduates include Video Display Technician, Field Support Technician, Technical Support Specialists and Quality Assurance Technician.
There are excellent opportunities for career advancement to supervisory positions and beyond. The challenge is for students to prepare themselves by upgrading their technical skills and knowledge by taking up higher-level courses.
Entry Requirements
To apply for the Nitec in Electronics (Display Technology) course, you need to have:
GCE ‘O’ level grades in any 2 subjects
Or
GCE ‘N’ level passes in Mathematics or Science and 2 other subjects
