About this Course

Business Process Reengineering (BPR) is a structured approach to radically change an organization’s processes, its information systems and its business functions to achieve quantum leap improvements. Organizations cannot fully exploit the capabilities of current IT systems without reengineering their business processes at the same time. Conducting BPR for a business requires more than technical knowledge and skills. It demands the ability to apply effective methods and techniques and a firm understanding of the practical dynamics and challenges of BPR projects. This course brings together well-proven techniques and best practices to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to effectively and successfully manage today's BPR projects. This course aims to provide a structured and practical approach to perform BPR for both the private and private organizations. Participants will also learn about critical success factors in BPR projects such as project sponsorship, clear project vision and change management. This course is essentially a high level introductory course on BPR project implementation.
