About this Course

The objectives of the MSc Finance programme of GGSB are to:

  • Provides young or experienced graduates from all over the world with an advanced knowledge in finance, based on the latest developments of financial theory and practice, and viewed from an international perspective.
  • Prepares them for careers in banking, financial services or to hold corporate finance positions within international companies at managerial level.
  • Provides the business community with highly qualified executives in financial management, with strong technical knowledge, an understanding of the strategic impact of financial decisions and the interpersonal skills necessary to manage in a global environment.

Entry Requirements

Interested applicants must possess the following:

  • Recognised Bachelor's degree in any subject
  • Students from all backgrounds (both academic and culture or cultural background) are welcome to apply
  • Candidates must have strong motivation for a finance career and a proven high level of quantitative skills
  • Work experience is not compulsory

Applicant must also provide two references – one academic and one professional. The relevant forms are available upon request.

Additional Requirements

All applicants must also demonstrate proficiency in the English language;

OR

IELTS (International English Language Testing System) at a minimum of 6.5 with a minimum mark of 6 in all areas (listening, reading, writing and speaking);

OR

TOEFL (IBT94/ computer based 240/ paper based 587) Institution code 8973;

OR

Cambridge Proficiency Exam (A,B,C);

OR

MDIS PCIE (English Test) with a minimum of 65;

OR

Pearson Test of English (PTE) with a minimum of 63

TOEIC is no longer accepted.

A GMAT could be requested. Target score 550 with a minimum of 70% in the quantitative section (GMAT Institution Code 0365). If you are required to take the GMAT you will be notified after your initial online application has been reviewed by GGSB. Please contact admissions@ggsb.com for additional details.

Applicants whose first language is English or students who can show that they have already pursued a first degree program (or in the case of undergraduate applicants, their secondary education) in English will not be required to take any further tests.
