About this Course

Being the largest and most successful government-private sector partnership of its kind, C-TPAT has grown to over 10,000 enrolled companies, which includes United States importers, customs brokers, terminal operators, carriers, and some foreign manufacturers all major players in the global supply chain. US Customs envisions entire supply chain, from manufacturer to carrier to warehouse provider to broker to importer to be a C-TPAT certified member over a period of time. Therefore, an increasingly stringent security compliance program for factories making goods for the US market is expected in the near future. Under the C-TPAT program, members will be subject to fewer security examinations and inspections by the US Customs. It will ensure more secure supply chain and overall enhanced security for employees, suppliers and customers. All buyers and importers are therefore seeking supplier factories to comply with C-TPAT standards. C-TPAT training program is aimed at helping factories in upgrading their skills and to be able to cope with this new business requirement from buyers. This training provides occupational knowledge and skills required to effectively manage supply chain security with special emphasis on C-TPAT and CSI compliance in the apparel and textile industry.
