Program Introduction

The ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma is a 120 credit size qualification, equivalent in size and level to the second year of a bachelor’s degree. ATHE Health and Social Care Management Qualifications were designed for managers in various types of organisations including hospitals and care homes in both the public and private sector.Healthcare is one of the largest employers. Opportunities avail to graduates who have a sense of social mission—deeply care about the people’s well-being to work with and serve them in areas such as Administration, Dept Supervisor, HR, Finance, Education, Health Promotion, Marketing, Patient-care services, Specialist Clerical staff, Associate Specialist, Social service, Nursing administration.

Progression Path

ATHE Level 5 Extended Diploma is equivalent to second year of a bachelor degree. Graduates may proceed for admission to approved top-up university degree programs with ATHE University Partners, via On-campus study or Online Study.

Or consult ASAS who also has a transfer agreement with Adams State University, USA for their various Bachelor Degree programs.

Structure and Duration

8 Modules

Minimum 12 months, Part-time

2 evenings per week, 6:45pm – 9:15pm

Assessment Methods

Direct assessment is based on written assignment includes Essays, Case Studies, Critical Reviews and Research Papers.

Delivery Method

Classroom based.

Graduation Requirements

Achieve a minimum 120 credits and earn a Pass in each subject.

Program Subjects

Students must complete all 8 subjects.

Eligibility

Be at least 19 years of ageMinimum entry requirement is for Higher NITEC / A Level / Diploma holders
