Introduction
The Pearson London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) International Qualifications are recognized by universities, governments and professional bodies such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), giving you the opportunity to study further.

This module is an understanding of an advanced aspect of the processing of cost accounting information, including stock control and how cost accounting information can be sued for the purposes if short-term planning, control, and decision making within t he business organizations. This tests the candidates’ ability to apply this understanding in a variety of business settings.
Objectives
The aim of the course is to test the candidate’s understanding of Accounting Information deriving from all sources – manual, mechanical and electronic. This is also to test their ability to prepare Accounting statements and data in accordance with basic accounting conventions and current accounting practice. It allows candidates to appreciate and analyze and interpret accounting statements and data.
Entry Requirements
- Completed the LCCI Level 2 Book-keeping & Accounts; Or
- Completed POA at GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent; Or
- NITEC/Higher NITEC
- Language Proficiency: Pass in English at Secondary 2 Level or Equivalent
- Minimum Age: 16 years

Part-Time:
2.5 months, every Monday & Thursday from 7.00 pm – 9.30 pm, unless otherwise stated
Total no of hours: 55 hours or 22 sessions (2.5hrs per session)

Graduation Requirements
Candidates must fulfill at least 75% course attendance requirements to sit for examinations. To obtain the certificate, students need to obtain at least a Pass grade in their examinations.

Written Exam:
The time allowance for this examination is 3 hours, the paper will consist of
5 compulsory questions. All questions will carry equal marks.
At least 1 question based on each of the following topics will appear in each examination:
1. Cost-volume (CVP) analysis
2. Budgetary planning and control
3. Standard costing and variances
