IP Considerations When Leveraging on Social Media Platforms

About this Course

With its increasingly widespread ubiquity, social media platforms can be used as an extremely effective resource for businesses and corporations to reach its target audiences. And yet despite this, it is also a double-edged sword: because for all the exciting opportunities for leverage social media can provide, there are also new and novel challenges that it presents, including in the IP arena.

By teaching participants how to incisively identify and overcome the key IP challenges in social media, this seminar aims to assist IP practitioners in navigating the uncharted waters of social media.

Featuring a panel of distinguished and knowledgeable speakers, participants can expect to learn how the IP challenges on social media platforms can be identified, avoided, and overcome. In particular, these issues will be contextualized to specific commonly used social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and BlogSpot. In addition, participants will also be given an insight on how corporations and businesses can better anticipate and address challenges in preparing and implementing a social media policy.
