Apply for this course and learn broad-based skills and knowledge in electrical, electronics and mechanical discipline to enable them to perform work involving assembling, installing, and setting up industrial automated equipment and systems.

- Install, maintain and service pneumatic and electro-pneumatic controlled systems.
- Construct and assemble mechanical support.
- Prepare and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.

Higher Nitec in Mechatronics Engineering graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 and above may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics.
Higher Nitec in Mechatronics Engineering graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 and above may apply for progression to the Technical Engineer Diploma in Machine Technology course or Technical Engineer Diploma in Automotive Engineering course conducted by ITE in collaboration with Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS), Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

Entry Requirements
To apply for the Higher Nitec in Mechatronics Engineering course, you need to have:
GCE 'O' level grades in English Language, Mathematics and 1 approved subject
Or
GCE ‘N(A)’ level passes in English Language, Mathematics and 3 other subjects
* GCE N(A) school leavers who applied during the January intake under the Direct Entry Scheme will undergo 10 weeks of preparatory programme followed by 2 years of Higher Nitec training
