- Assist in planning and scheduling MRO activities
- Diagnose and rectify faults in aircraft and engine systems

Progression Opportunities
Higher Nitec in Aerospace Engineering graduates with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 and above may apply for progression to the first year of a related diploma course at the Polytechnics.
Career Prospects
Higher Nitec in Aerospace Engineering graduates are employed by aerospace companies which maintain and repair airframes, engines, structural systems, instrumentation, radio systems and avionics systems. Some of the job titles held by graduates include Senior Aircraft Technician, Aircraft Engineering Assistant, Production Planning Assistant and Aircraft Structural Repair Engineering Assistant.
There are excellent opportunities for career advancement to supervisory positions and beyond. The challenge is for students to upgrade their technical skills and knowledge by taking up higher-level courses.
Entry Requirements
Nitec in Aerospace Technology or Nitec in Aerospace Avionics with minimum GPA of 2.8 (inclusive of CCA bonus).
Applicants applying for these courses must ensure that they are free from colour appreciation deficiency.
