Course Information

The WSQ – Food Hygiene Course is a WDA/WSQ designed curriculum adhering to the F & B Safety and Hygiene Procedures. It is a one-day course. Under the Food Hygiene Regulations, all NEA registered food handlers are required to attend and pass this course so as to be equipped with the necessary knowledge before being allowed to operate public eateries. Food handlers who pass the course will earn a national competency qualification: Statement of Attainment (SOA).

The course comprises of

7 hours of classroom theory lessons (8.30am – 4.30pm)

45 minutes of multiple choice assessment (4.30pm – 5.15pm)

45 minutes of practical assessment (5.30pm – 6.15pm)
