About this Course

This module enables candidates to use project management software to prepare project plans and monitor projects, including planning and managing time, costs, tasks and resources.

This module aims to suit a broad range of candidates who are planning for projects - for example, university students planning to research projects, individuals planning construction projects of various sizes, managers of content development projects relating to trainingor individuals planning an event such as a corporate conference or wedding.

On completion of this module each candidate will be able to:

  • Understand the key concepts relating to managing projects.
  • Use a project management application to create a new project and maintain an existing project.
  • Create and schedule tasks, add project constrains and deadlines.
  • Assign costs, create and assign resources to tasks.
  • View the critical path, monitor progress and reschedule work.
  • Prepare and print outputs including charts and reports.

Target Audience

Beginner and Professional are welcome to join the course. Those with project management background will have an advantage but not a must.

Pre-requisites

 Need to possess the knowledge of basic PC

Certification

Successful trainees will receive the internationally recognized ICDL Certificate upon completion of the course. This certificate is administered by ICDL Singapore. This is a joint certification between WDA and ICDL Singapore. Student must take a 45 minutes online assessment at the end of the course.
