About this Course

The aim of this course is to equip the students with the set of technical Skills and Knowledge to meet the industry demands. The course curriculum is designed and planned to carry out technical support functions in mechanical engineering design, production, quality assurance, material control and maintenance of automated machines and equipment in accordance to local as well as international standard and practices, which enables learners to support in the optimum productivity and meet the dynamic industry.The objective of this course is to meet the operational level job skills for mechanical industries. To grasp the basic mechanical principles and techniques that underpins the operational level. To understand the latest technologies such as CAD, mechatronics and machinery technologies incorporated to ease the operation that are related to production or manufacturing.Successful learners with Diploma in Mechanical Engineering shall progress to Advance diploma in Mechanical Engineering offered by the Greensafe Academy.

  • Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD)


  • Mechatronics


  • Design of Mechanical Elements


  • Fluid Mechanics and Mechanical Machinery

Mode of Assessment

The assessment depends on the nature of the modules. Please refer to the course structure above.

Modules are taught in a face-to-face manner.

Entry Qualification

  • Minimum 3 ‘O’ level or equivalent qualification including English and any 2 science subjects
  • International secondary level qualification with English, Mathematics and Science
  • Candidate with Certificate in Engineering Foundation from Greensafe academy
  • Matured student with more than 3 years relevant working experience will be considered
  • Other qualification with experience will be considered case to case basis and subject to Academic Advisory Board’s approval

Teacher-to-Student Ratio

The Teacher-to-student ratio is 1: 75 (lecture)

Graduation Requirement

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be awarded by Greensafe Academy upon successful completion of all 6 modules and graduates may use the title DipME after their names.

Certification

The Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be awarded by Greensafe Academy Pte Ltd.

Study Modes: Part Time / Full Time

Course Duration : 6 months / 6 months

Total Contact Hours : 

Part Time : 144 Contact Hours(No term break between exams and modules)

Full Time : 144 Contact Hours(Term break between exams and modules)

Schedule: 

WEEKEND : PER MODULE3 SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS (6PM TO 10 PM)

WEEKDAY : MON, WED & FRI (7PM TO 10PM)5 days per week (3 hours per day)
