Course Objectives:

1.Verify the expectations of a Risk Management (ROM) Champion/RM team leader.

2.Form a Risk Management Team.

3.Establish Hazard Identification Methodology.

4.Establish Risk Assessment Methodology.

5.Establish Risk Control Measures Methodology.

6.Develop a Workplace Risk management plan.

7.Present the Risk Management Plan.

8.Communicate the identified hazards, risk evaluated and implemented risk control measures.

Entry Requirements:Assumed Skills and Knowledge:

Skills and knowledge that the individual are recommended to possess before taking up the unit so as to confidently undertake the unit and to be successful subsequently on the job

Have an in depth knowledge of their organizational products/services

Have and in depth knowledge on sources of workplace hazards

ESS Workplace Literacy and Numeracy Level 5 and above.

Exam Format:

Part 1: Written Assessment (Conducted on the last session)

Part 2: Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan

Trainees will be graded as NYC (Not Yet Competent), if they fail to submit the Risk Management Implementation Plan before the deadline.

Part 3: Oral Questioning (Oral questioning is a scheduled session, learners are strongly recommended to attend the oral questioning session for the assessor to carry out recovery for their Written Assessment and RM Plan Submission to obtain 100% competency for this course).

Note: Trainees, who did not complete Part 1 or Part 2, will be automatically graded as NYC.
