Course Overview

CPR:

  • PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN HOW TO DETERMINE UNRESPONSIVENESS, ACTIVATE EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AS WELL AS PERFORM CPR
  • PARTICIPANTS WILL BE TRAINED ACCORDING TO THE LATEST RELEASE OF NATIONAL GUIDELINES ON CPR
  • COMMON HEART RHYTHMS IN SUDDEN
  • CARDIAC ARREST
  • IMPORTANCE OF EARLY DEFIBRILLATION
  • BASIC STRUCTURE & FUNCTION OF ORGANS IN CPR
  • COMPLICATIONS OF CPR
  • THE CHAIN OF SURVIVAL
  • CPR PRACTICAL

AED:

  • PARTICIPANTS WILL LEARN HOW TO USE AED ON ADULT CASUALTIES
  • PARTICIPANTS WILL BE TRAINED ACCORDING TO THE LATEST RELEASE OF NATIONAL GUIDELINES ON AED
  • THE IMPORTANCE OF EARLY DEFIBRILLATION
  • SAFETY ISSUES
  • PREPARATION OF CASUALTY PLACEMENT / ATTACHMENT OF ELECTRODES
  • AED PRACTICAL
  • ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE RESCUER
  • DOCUMENTATION REPORT

Course Duration

4 hours, including of theory, practical and assessment

Course Schedule

6pm to 10pm (Evening)

Certification

This course is accredited by the National Resuscitation Council and is valid for 2 years. Results will be released 1 week after the course end. A pass(credit card size) of achievement will be issued to all participants after the release of the results.
