Overview
This direct entry, final year Honours degree is offered to help suitably qualified applicants, both home and international, become full UK graduates in Business and Management. The course is also validated for the award of BSc (depending on circumstances and location of delivery).
The course encourages you to develop an independent and entrepreneurial approach to problem solving and business analysis. This approach, combined with your business knowledge and the experience gained on your placement, is highly valued by employers.

Human Resource Track
Human Resource is the core function of all organisations. It ensures the right talents are selected and employed into the company. Employees play a huge role in the success of any company, bringing the organisation to another level.
A Human Resource Personnel needs to understand and choose training and skill development courses benefiting to both the company and employees. They have to maintain good working relationship with employers and employees and know the mechanism which encourages employees to stay committed to the company.
Marketing Track
Marketing identifies the needs and wants of consumers in the current competitive market. It pinpoints the ideal market positioning and helps to craft marketing strategy to suit their target market.
Students will learn to look at things from consumer point-of-view, understanding their decision-making process and how different factors can affect consumer’s decision toward any purchase. They will gain an understanding of the usage of different market research techniques, learn to interpret those data, gaining insights on consumers’ behavior.

Career Opportunities
While many of these careers are open to graduates in any subject, some employers may specify, or give preference to, graduates in business-related subjects. A career in business is varied and can involve the functions such as management , HR and marketing and there is an increasing need for business management skills in government, international commerce and any profit organisations.
Careers as entry-level manager, Human Resources specialist, Assistant Product Manager, Business Analyst, Market Researcher are some of the possibilities.

Entry Requirement
Applicants aged 19 years or older are eligible to enter the top-up degree programme with one of the following qualifications:
- A relevant Auston Higher Diploma
- Singapore government Polytechnic Diploma in relevant fields
- NQF Level 5 qualification
- Relevant equivalent qualification from recognised institutions
- Non-related Diploma will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
Applicants whose first language is not English or whose previous qualification was not taught and assessed in English must provide evidence of attainment in English Language by achieving an IELTS 6 or an equivalent qualification.
