About this Course

Course Description

To attain bizSAFE Level 1 certification, the CEO or anyone from the top management of a company has to attend the bizSAFE Level 1 Workshop. After participating the workshop, the company will be certified as a bizSAFE Level 1 enterprise. To ensure compliance to the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA), many established corporations have placed bizSAFE certification as a supplying, tendering and sub-contracting  requirement. Thus, sub-contractors, suppliers and tenderers having bizSAFE certification will have a competitive edge over those who do not. With effect from November 2010, all sub-contractors, suppliers and tenderers of the Ministry of Manpower are required to have minimum bizSAFE Level 1 certification.

Objectives

1. Provides the participants with an understanding of the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and its subsidiary regulations, Risk Management Regulations and guidelines on Risk Management.

2. Introduce the concept of bizSAFE.

3. Enabling the participants to understand their roles in cultivating and promoting a good Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) culture at their workplaces.

Certification:
